The police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two people who attacked and robbed an old lady while she was walking on a Queens sidewalk with her cart of groceries.

According to the NYPD, the incident happened at 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, near 153rd Avenue & 88th Street. The 73-year-old woman was walking with her groceries when a young woman took the victim's purse from the cart. Then a man punched the victim in the face, which caused her to fall to the ground. The victim suffered lacerations to her ear and abrasions to her arm and was treated at Jamaica Hospital. Her purse contained $100, a Trac cellphone, and other personal items.

The suspects—a male and female—are described as being around 18 years old and with thin builds. The female was last seen wearing a vest, and the male suspect last seen wearing dark clothing and tan cargo shorts.
