In case you missed it, here is the adorably hopeful home page for President-elect Mitt Romney's transition website. It somehow wound up on the Internet yesterday, where it was spotted blogger Taegan Goddard at Political Wire. As any shrewd blogger knows enough to do, Goddard took screengrabs of the website, where President Romney declares that he's "excited about our prospects as a nation" and can't wait for 47% of Americans to relocate their slacker asses to Canada.

The website bore the nightmarish title "Mitt Romney Elected the 45th President of The United States of America" and, on a page about Obama's health care reform, promised that "on his first day in office, Mitt Romney will issue an executive order that paves the way for the federal government to issue Affordable Care Act waivers to all 50 states. He will then work with Congress to repeal the full legislation as quickly as possible." Instead, Romney will work on finding something to do with all those fireworks he was planning on exploding over Boston Harbor Tuesday night.
