Marian Gaborik had two goals and Brad Richards netted the game-winner with one-tenth of a second remaining as the Rangers stunned the Coyotes, 3-2, in Arizona.. The loss snapped a two-game losing streak that had seen the Rangers score only one goal in 120 minutes. The Rangers trailed by a goal entering the third period, but Gaborik scored early in the period before Richards' game-winner. Video replay was needed, but the Rangers got the two points.
Patrik Elias had two goals, one to tie and one to break John MacLean's franchise record in the Devils' 5-3 win over the Canadiens. Three times the Devils had one-goal leads.
