  • Washington 5 Rangers 4 (OT): How did this happen? Up 4-0 in the second period, the Rangers fell apart and lost in overtime. You can blame some bad penalties and some tough rebounds. That doesn’t excuse coughing up that big a lead and New York will have a very tough time swallowing this loss.
  • Boston 2 New Jersey 0: The Bruins outlasted the Devils in a tight, well played contest, scoring twice in the third period for the win.
  • Atlanta 4 Islanders 2: New York tied things up in the third period with a short-handed goal, but the Thrashers overcame that and pulled away.
  • Nets 108 Indiana 107: Devin Harris had 29 points, but the most important two were his last. Harris hit a jumper as time expired to give New Jersey the win.
