Lam Zhou Handmade Noodle, a decade-old noodle and dumpling shop, suddenly shuttered its East Broadway storefront last month. Devotees of the restaurant mourned and food sites penned eulogies, but turns out the shop isn't gone forever—just gone on to a new location.

Signage spotted by Bowery Boogie at 40 Bowery indicates an October opening for Lam Zhou 2.0 that references its original location at 144 East Broadway. Great news for fans of the "out of control" dumplings and excellent—and inexpensive!—noodles, whether in soup or not.
