We're only weeks away from another visit to the land of Middle Earth: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the highly anticipated first part of Peter Jackson's three-part Lord of the Rings prequel, will be released December 14th. To get you thoroughly in the mood, some industrious fans have compiled a 7-minute long, chronological video made out of all the trailers and TV spots for the movie, featuring Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, Gollum and all the dwarves. Watch it below—spoiler alert: the book came out over 70 years ago!

The second film in the trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, will be released Dec. 13, 2013; the third installment, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will hit theaters July 18, 2014. That gives you plenty of time to brush up on your Encyclopedia of Arda, to make sure you can tell the difference between Orcrist thе Goblin Ax and Sting.
