Since Brooklyn's so the new Manhattan, it seems appropriate that all the big-name talent has been eschewing Madison Square Garden for the Barclays Center. Now Barclays can add another start to its repertoire: Rihanna will be headlining a show there NEXT spring. Does this mean Barclays is the hopeless place she's always going on about?

On May 4th, Katy Perry's BFF will be bringing her Diamonds World Tour to Brooklyn. Tickets go on sale this Friday—you can snag 'em at the Barclays Center website or via Ticketmaster.

She joins a long list of other arena concert stars that'll be performing at Barclays over the next year, including Jay-Z in September, Smashing Pumpkins and Barbara Streisand in October, Bob Dylan, Justin Bieber and (fingers crossed!) The Rolling Stones in November, and Neil Young and Leonard Cohen in December.

Rihanna hasn't announced an opener yet, but we're hedging bets on an appearance by Chris Brown, Drake, or both. Bottle fights in the VIP room, y'all, bottle service and booze curfew be damned!
