Beyonce, who is taking a break from surprising kids in Harlem, has announced a special series of shows at the Roseland Ballroom later this month, dubbed "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce."

On August 14, 16, 18, and 19, Lady Bee will perform her new album 4 in its entirety, for a standing-room only audience. There is no word yet on whether hubby Jay-Z will drop by, but given the hype around his new project (and the showboating cameos partner Kanye has been pulling lately), we wouldn't be surprised if there are some, ahem, special guest appearances. The Wall Street Journal has a quick rundown of some other artists who've pulled the play-an-entire-album card, including Kanye, Lauryn Hill, Nas and Erykah Badu.

Tickets for the shows will be available starting Wednesday on Ticketmaster, and here's a little preview of what you might be able to expect at the shows based off of B's latest single (Princess Leia-style buns, wedding lingerie, etc.):
